Community Improvement Foundation
$40,000 available in grants in 2008! Grant applications will be reviewed and accepted throughout the year. Applications must be received by June 5, 2008 to be eligible for review in the second quarter. Applications received after June 5th will be reviewed in September.
The Community Improvement Foundation is designed to provide financial assistance to qualifying organizations and projects within our membership area.
Funds for the Community Improvement Foundation are designated annually by Lake State Federal Credit Union.
The Community Improvement Foundation is a group of members that will review the applications quarterly and administer the funds. The seven-member committee evaluates all requests and makes a determination based on the program criteria and funds available.
The approved categories are: community service, economic development, education and youth, and environment. Contributions will not be made for political, religious, or highly sensitive/controversial programs or to individuals.
Applications are available at any office or click application.
